Yes, I'm skipping to day 4. Why? Because Day 3 is an experience I cannot explain through words nor does the things we did at the night of day 2 and morning of day 4. You have to join me there on those days to know how wonderful I felt during those times.
Okay, on we go!
For day 4 the only exciting thing we're gonna do is transfer from CDO to Balingoan port. We were scheduled to depart from CDO by 1pm. We thought that it was just another hour ride to the port. We wrong, entirely wrong. The trip is around 2 and a half hour to the port. We slept all the way. Good thing is that our driver, James, doesn't mind us sleeping all the way. Heheheheheee
When we arrived at the port, good thing we did was collecting the fare earlier. It will lessen the people surrounding the teller and it would be easier to process the payments. As of February 18, the far going to Benoni port was 170.00 per head per way. Then 2.00 per head will be collected for environmental fee, and when you reached the lobby entrance you will need to pay 9.00 for 5people again for I forgot. Sum it up and just get 180.00 per way from your friends and give them the change afterwards. It'll be a lot easier, trust me.
You have to write down the names and age of each passenger, and it was comforting that way. On our way to Benoni, we rode the last trip leaving at 4:30 via MV YUHUM. It will take you around 2 hours to reach Benoni, be sure to keep food and water in your pocket throughout the trip.
Here's the service we asked from them for 2,500.00
Feb. 16 - pick up from port and drop off to our hotel
Feb. 17 - island tour (8 hours)
Feb. 18 - pick up form hotel and drop off to port
Not bad for a group of 5. :)
It was already dark when we arrived at the port and it was getting darker by the minute. We did not expect that the hotel we chose was that far from the port. It was a 30-40min drive uphill, with no street light. In short, we were travelling in pitch black. Stories about ghosts and alike were floating by the time we got to the hotel. (A seperate post will be provided.)
We checked-in and dress up/freshen up for dinner before hitting the sack. It was 8pm by the time we started eating. Sheeeeesh!
