We went to NAIA terminal 3 for our afternoon flight. It is better to go there early and check-in your baggage so you wouldn't worry about your bags.
The gate numbers were changed on the last minute due to airport traffic. So it is really better to go to the airport early.
The flight to Korea was about 3 hours but due to the 1 hour time difference we arrive there at around 8pm. The captain told us that the temperature outside was 17degrees! WOW! It was my first time to hit the road with that temperature. We are in store for a lot of firsts.
Upon checking out of the airport, we tried to find a money changer because we only have dollars. It is better to check the exchange rates in advance.. We found out that G25's (like 7eleven here) rate is higher than those from the banks. But we opted for an exchange booth just outside the baggage carousel area of the aiport.
Our next stop was to find a City Pass, which can be used for MTR, buses and cab rides. The price of it was 2500won then you have to add credit to it. There we had our first (but good in the end) mistake. We asked the cashier to load up our cards for 100,000won. Talk about being rich in another country!!!!
